Christie Connolly is a License Mental Health Counselor/Art Therapist/Owner of OASIS. She graduated with a MA, from Lesley University in 2013 and it has been her dream since to own and practice her counseling in an open studio setting.

“ I believe that along with art therapy, the making of art is in many ways a therapeutic experience and am so excited to share this studio and the creative process with a diverse community of people “

She is proud mom of a beautiful grown daughter Paris who lives in California, and a sweet puppy named Biz. For fun she likes to paint abstract art and show her work from time to time. She enjoys walks with the sweet boy Biz in the nice weather.

Carolyn grew up in Lynn, graduating from Lynn Tech in the Graphic Arts Program. She worked for a publishing company for 25 years as graphic artist, pre-press manager and eventually operations manager. When the company was sold, she got her degree in Graphic Design while managing a busy Lynn church office then as a production/project manager for a print management company. She is currently an accounting student and works part time in a small office setting up mailings, brochures, newsletters, keeping website current and some bookkeeping and account management.

Tia is the OASIS Project Manager and and an instructor. She is a local artist and arts advocate. Her passion for educating the community about the benefits of creativity has led to her facilitating multiple public art projects. She has dedicates her time to supporting the creative economy through community building and creative placemaking. You can find her working closely with; The Brickyard Collaborative, Artist Row Salem, Lynn Public Arts Commision and Salem Public Arts Commision.
